Great to meet you!

If you’ve spent years trying to understand why you struggle but still don’t feel better, you’re not alone. Many of my clients come to therapy after traditional talk therapy hasn’t brought the lasting relief they were hoping for. Together, we move beyond simply understanding the problem to helping your brain and body process and heal from experiences that continue to affect your life today.

I specialize in helping adults heal from trauma, attachment wounds, anxiety, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and the lasting effects of developmental trauma. As an EMDR Certified Therapist, I integrate EMDR with Internal Family Systems (IFS), Ego State therapy, somatic approaches, interpersonal neurobiology, and CBT/DBT when appropriate. Every treatment plan is individualized because healing is never one-size-fits-all.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), National Certified Counselor (NCC), and EMDRIA Certified Therapist with over 11 years of clinical experience working across inpatient, residential, and outpatient settings. Whether you’re beginning therapy for the first time or looking for a different approach after feeling stuck, I would be honored to walk alongside you in your healing journey.

My approach to therapy

I believe people are inherently good. Sometimes life’s experiences can leave us feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from the person we want to be. My role is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel understood while helping you create meaningful, lasting change.

I practice from a person-centered and solution-focused framework grounded in empathy, collaboration, and respect. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and I strive to understand your experiences from your perspective. Every treatment plan is individualized because healing is never one-size-fits-all.

Clients often tell me they appreciate having a therapist who is both compassionate and active in the therapy process. I won’t simply listen and nod—we’ll work together to identify the patterns keeping you stuck, process experiences that continue to affect your present, and develop practical tools to help you move forward.

I integrate evidence-based approaches, including EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Ego States Therapy, Somatic/Sensorimotor therapies, Interpersonal Neurobiology, and CBT/DBT, to help you achieve meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a strong therapeutic relationship. You can expect a warm, welcoming and nonjudgmental environment where you’ll have the space to share your story at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

During our first few sessions, we’ll explore what brings you to therapy, discuss your personal history, and identify the goals you’d like to work toward. Together, we’ll develop an individualized treatment plan that fits your unique needs and preferences.

Some clients simply need a safe place to feel heard, understood and supported, while others are ready to focus on specific goals and lasting change. My role is to meet you where you are and work collaboratively with you throughout the process.
