Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Ellen, a psychotherapist who treats adults and adolescents 19 and up. I combine psychodynamic techniques with spirituality to create a session that offers both common sense and compassion, and also some creative and fun interventions! I work with anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, relationships, and more. My approach is individualized to respect you and what you need or hope for in therapy. I am a marriage and family therapist with experience in school, clinic, and private practice.

My approach to therapy

A psychotherapy session might include techniques that help you get to know yourself and access your "inner therapist." We can create stillness to go inward, or use a technique to express something that's been buried. Sand tray, guided meditation, and journeying with a drum are some of the ways we can shift your energy, mood, or perspective.

What you can expect from me

If you're feeling overwhelmed or stuck, or need a break from the pace of modern life, we can work on shifting this and accelerate your healing. Reconnecting with yourself, your truth, and your strengths is an important part of therapy.
