Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Texas with experience supporting teens, young adults, older adults, and families through some of life’s most difficult moments. I earned my Master of Science in Social Work from UT Austin’s Steve Hicks School of Social Work, with a focus on clinical practice and healthcare.

For the past several years, I worked in a cancer hospital providing psychological support to patients and their families as they navigated serious illness, uncertainty, loss, and major life transitions. This experience shaped my particular interest in grief and loss, medical trauma, chronic illness, spirituality, and the emotional impact of health challenges.

I believe our experiences become part of our story, but they do not have to define what comes next. My goal is to create a warm, authentic space where you can better understand what you are experiencing, reconnect with your strengths, and find meaning and a path forward. I am also conversational in Spanish.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, curious, and collaborative. I believe therapy should give you space to be honest about what you are experiencing while also helping you discover new ways to understand yourself and move forward.

Together, we may explore your personal values, relationships, experiences, spirituality, and the meaning you make from difficult circumstances. I incorporate reflection, creativity, and honest conversation while helping you recognize the strengths already present in your story. Rather than telling you what your life should look like, I work alongside you to identify what matters most to you and what healing, growth, and connection can look like in your life.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin understanding what brought you to therapy. I’ll invite you to share what has been happening in your life, what feels most important right now, and what you hope might be different as a result of our work together.

There is no expectation that you tell your entire story in the first session. We will move at a pace that feels comfortable while beginning to identify your concerns, strengths, and goals for therapy. Most importantly, I want you to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer sense of how we can work together.
