Great to meet you!

I am a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and have experience ranging from child and adult inpatient care, partial hospitalization program, and intensive outpatient care to community mental health crisis stabilization and substance abuse treatment.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Chamberlain University. In addition to my specialty in psychiatry, I am also a board certified emergency room nurse. I find that this added expertise allows me to be more thorough, taking the entire patient into account both medically as well as psychologically. I have received my Masters in Nursing as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Walden University.

What you can expect from our first session

When you come to me for treatment I want you to feel like you are part of a team. After a thorough assessment and diagnosis you will be educated on the possible treatment options. We will come to an agreement together on the best treatment. My focus is on the treatment of mood disorders, PTSD, psychotic disorders, substance abuse and chronic mental illness through psychiatric assessment, medication management and psychotherapeutic intervention for the child, adolescent and adult population.
