Great to meet you!

Hi there, I'm Elliot and I have 35+ years of experience treating those experiencing depression, anxiety, PTSD, substance abuse and relationship issues. I'm here to listen without judgment and to help you make sense of what you're going through at your own pace.

I'm a licensed therapist based in the Lake Forest area of Southern California, and I work with a small, intentional caseload — because I believe the quality of the relationship matters more than the volume of clients I see. I've spent years working in clinical settings and now bring that experience to an independent practice where I can offer more personalized, focused care. I see clients in person when possible, and I'm also available via telehealth for those who prefer the flexibility.

My approach to therapy

I approach therapy as a genuine partnership — I'm here to listen without judgment and to help you make sense of what you're going through at your own pace. I believe in meeting people where they are, whether that means working through a specific challenge or taking a broader look at patterns that keep showing up in your life. My style tends to be warm and conversational, and I try to make the work feel as approachable as possible.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is really about getting to know each other — there's no pressure to have everything figured out before we meet. I'll ask some questions to understand what's brought you in and what you're hoping to get out of therapy, but mostly I want you to feel comfortable talking. By the end of our first conversation, you'll have a sense of how I work and we'll have a clearer picture of what we want to focus on together.
