Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Ellysia! I am a neurodivergent and queer therapist and social worker, and am passionate about using connection and authenticity to promote healing. I love working with other neurodivergent people, especially those diagnosed later in life or who are high-masking, folks deemed "too sensitive," fellow therapists, and those trying to build a life that embraces their true (and full!) self.

My approach to therapy

I offer a warm, trauma-informed approach, rooted in systemic psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems, psychodynamic therapy, attachment healing, and somatic-informed therapy. I practice from an anti-oppressive, anti-racist lens and focus to create a safe therapeutic environment that can hold each individuals pain, anger, fear, and shame along with moments of joy, silliness, and celebration.

What you can expect from me

I believe that therapy is a collaborative process between the therapist and the person. I also believe that the systems and environment we live in deeply impact the way we show up, and I will always work to give this proper recognition, while also empowering you toward the change and goals you desire for yourself. Together, we will build a safe, trusting relationship and therapeutic space, where you are accepted as all that you are. In sessions, I encourage feedback and challenging, along with laughter, depth, and sensitivity. If it sounds like we may be a good fit, I would love to hear from you!
