Great to meet you!

Life can feel overwhelming when you're carrying anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship struggles, family conflict, grief, or the effects of major life transitions. You may feel stuck in unhealthy patterns, disconnected from loved ones, emotionally exhausted, or unsure how to move forward. Whether you're navigating stress, ADHD, substance use concerns, PTSD, bipolar disorder, or challenges within your family relationships, you don't have to face those struggles alone.

With more than 17 years of experience in behavioral health and a background shaped by military family life, I bring a deep appreciation for resilience, adaptability, and the importance of meaningful human connection. I work with adolescents, adults, and families seeking support for anxiety, depression, trauma, family issues, relationship concerns, grief, stress management, and emotional wellness. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to make lasting changes.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and solution-focused. I believe that understanding the "why" behind thoughts, emotions, and behaviors is an important part of healing, but insight alone is not enough. Together, we'll identify patterns, build practical coping skills, and create meaningful goals that support long-term growth.

I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Strength-Based Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Trauma-Informed Care, Person-Centered Therapy, Family Systems approaches, Mindfulness-based interventions, Behavioral Activation, Psychoeducation, and skills-based treatment strategies. Sessions are tailored to your unique experiences, strengths, and goals.

Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, family conflict, relationship challenges, grief, stress, ADHD, PTSD, substance use concerns, or emotional regulation difficulties, we'll work together to develop practical tools that improve daily functioning and strengthen resilience. My goal is to help you move beyond surviving and begin creating a life that feels more balanced, connected, and fulfilling.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment where you are encouraged to share your story at a pace that feels comfortable for you. During our first sessions, we'll explore what brought you to therapy, identify your goals, and create a personalized plan that supports meaningful progress.

Clients often leave therapy with improved coping skills, reduced anxiety and stress, healthier relationships, stronger communication, increased self-awareness, better emotional regulation, and greater confidence in handling life's challenges. Whether you're seeking support for trauma, depression, family concerns, grief, substance use, or major life transitions, my goal is to help you feel supported, empowered, and equipped with practical tools that create lasting change.
