Great to meet you!

You deserve a different, more compassionate relationship with yourself. I'm Elsa, a licensed therapist with over 15 years supporting women through questions of identity, self esteem, and how they relate to themselves and the people around them. I work in English and Spanish. Reach out when you're ready.

My approach to therapy

My approach is psychodynamic and integrative, which means we explore what's beneath the surface: how your early experiences and relationships have shaped the way you see yourself and how you relate to others. We look at where old patterns keep showing up, and we work to understand them rather than fight them. I draw on your strengths throughout. This isn't therapy that tells you who to be. It's a collaborative process: you take the lead, and I walk alongside you, offering honest reflection and asking questions that open things up. I'll meet you with warmth, and I'll also challenge you, because that combination is often where real growth lives.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I'll want to understand what brought you here and what you're hoping for. We'll take time to get to know each other before going anywhere hard. Over time, you can expect our work to feel collaborative and grounded, with room for depth when you're ready. Sessions are via telehealth, across New York State, at times that fit your schedule.
