Great to meet you!

Hi! I'm a bilingual Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) based in DC and the DMV region. If you are having issues with anxiety or feeling kind of down, we can work on how to address those feelings in healthier ways. I have been practicing for eight years but I have 15 years' experience working in mental health. I work with adults, primarily young adults in college ranging to early 40s.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach integrates multiple modalities, including CBT, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness. I have extensive experience working with adults and college students facing a wide range of mental health challenges. My work focuses on implementing boundaries, managing stress and anxiety, improving time management, maintaining stability, and identifying support systems. Additionally, I have experience working with first and second generations as well as eldest daughter syndrome.

What you can expect from me

I normally ask what brings you in and explain some of the basics with therapy in general. I normally give a quick recap of my experience and ask for you to tell me about yourself. I offer prompts if that's helpful to get things going or get the nerves down.
