Great to meet you!

Hello future clients! I have been an LCSW for over 20 years, am a mother of two, an avid traveler, and enjoy outdoor adventures. I have worked with people around the world and of many backgrounds. I have extensive training in trauma, anxiety, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, behavior analysis, grief, LGTBQ issues, and have worked with most significant mental health diagnoses. I have worked mostly with youth and families but also enjoy supporting adults and/or couples.

My approach to therapy

My style working with clients truly depends on the client. I believe strongly in meeting you where you are at while also challenging you to grow towards the goals you create. I try to find the balance of hearing and validating your experiences while also offering tools or ideas that might help you towards your goals. I enjoy utilizing humor and true human connection in the therapeutic process and will also bring in some psychoeducation, games, arts and more, depending on who I am working with.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect me to be consistent and caring. I rarely cancel sessions and am on time. I carry a small caseload so I will remember details and truly take interest in supporting you and working towards the goals you have created. You can expect some humor, a relaxed atmosphere, validation and sometimes some homework to support ongoing growth.
