Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Florida and a Certified Trauma Professional, fluent in both English and Spanish. I earned my Bachelor’s in Psychology from Florida International University and my Master’s from Carlos Albizu University in 2017. Born in Peru and raised in South Florida, I bring a multicultural perspective to my work and understand the importance of honoring each client’s unique background. I have extensive experience working with couples and families from diverse cultural backgrounds, as well as with children and teens navigating Autism and other childhood diagnoses. My goal is to provide a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and supported.

My approach to therapy

I take a collaborative, goal-focused approach that blends evidence-based techniques with a compassionate, nonjudgmental style. In couples and family therapy, I help clients strengthen communication, rebuild trust, and create healthier relationship patterns that foster lasting connection. I work with families to navigate challenges such as parenting differences, cultural dynamics, and behavioral concerns, offering practical tools that can be applied at home. For children and teens, I focus on strategies that empower both the child and their caregivers to work together toward growth and stability. As a Certified Trauma Professional, I also bring specialized expertise in supporting survivors of domestic abuse, hate crimes, and crisis situations, helping them process their experiences and develop emotional resilience. No matter the setting — couples, families, or individuals — my goal is to help clients feel empowered, understood, and equipped to create positive change.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to leave sessions with greater clarity, insight, and a stronger connection to their own strengths. I encourage self-growth by promoting autonomy, independence, and self-sufficiency, while helping you gain the tools to navigate challenges with confidence. Our work together will focus on developing self-awareness, building emotional resilience, and creating lasting changes that align with your values and goals.
