Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I provide a supportive, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where clients can feel safe exploring challenges that may be impacting their emotional well-being, relationships, and daily functioning. My approach is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and grounded in evidence-based practices tailored to each client’s individual needs and goals. I have experience working with individuals, couples, families, adolescents, and clients navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional dysregulation, life transitions, relational conflict, grief and loss, and stress-related concerns.

I believe therapy should feel both supportive and practical. My goal is to help clients increase insight, strengthen coping skills, improve communication, and build healthier patterns that support long-term emotional wellness and stability. I value authenticity, accountability, and creating a therapeutic relationship where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout the treatment process.

My approach to therapy

I approach therapy through a trauma-informed, compassionate, and collaborative lens, recognizing that many emotional and relational struggles are shaped by past experiences, attachment wounds, and chronic stress. I strive to create a space where clients feel emotionally safe, seen, and understood without judgment. My style is warm, genuine, and direct, balancing empathy with accountability and practical support for change.

I integrate evidence-based approaches, including CBT, DBT-informed interventions, attachment-focused work, and strengths-based techniques to help clients build insight, improve emotional regulation, strengthen relationships, and reconnect with a sense of stability and self-worth. I believe healing happens within safe relationships, and I work alongside clients at a pace that feels supportive, respectful, and empowering to their individual journey.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect their first session to be a supportive, collaborative, and judgment-free space focused on understanding their current concerns, emotional experiences, and goals for therapy. We will discuss what brings them to treatment, relevant personal and relational history, current stressors, coping patterns, and how symptoms may be impacting daily functioning, relationships, or overall well-being.

I approach the intake process through a trauma-informed lens, meaning clients are never pressured to share more than they are comfortable with during the first session. My goal is to help clients feel emotionally safe, heard, and understood while beginning to build a strong therapeutic relationship. Together, we will identify treatment goals, explore strengths, and discuss how therapy can support healing, emotional regulation, personal growth, and healthier relationship patterns moving forward.
