Elyse Schappert

I am an LCSW in the state of NH and ME with over 5 years of experience. I have a Master of Social Work, and have several years experience working as a therapist in community mental health. As a result, I have experience supporting folks from all walks of life. I draw upon several evidence-based approaches to best support your unique needs, such as CBT, ACT, DBT and EMDR, specializing in the treatment of distressing thoughts or memories, trauma history, anxiety disorders and mood disorders.

I specialize in bringing warmth and compassionate into evidenced-based therapy for clients who experience a variety of mental health challenges. Through a personalized approach, I aim to empower clients to navigate life's challenges with greater resilience and find balance in their daily lives. In treatment I will create a space where you are in the drivers seat, so you will be setting the pace and I welcome feedback, which is necessary to ensure you are getting the most out of sessions.
