Great to meet you!

Hi there, I am a licensed mental health counselor and school adjustment counselor who works with children, teens, young adults, and families. I believe therapy should be a warm, safe space where clients can show up authentically and feel supported without judgment. I have 7 years of post-master’s clinical experience, along with 13 years of experience across a variety of mental health settings and community-based supports. My work is trauma-informed and grounded in supporting clients through anxiety, emotional regulation, school and life transitions, parenting stress, and relationship concerns while helping them feel more confident, understood, and grounded as they navigate life's challenges.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, relational, and reflective in both emotional insight and practical support. I draw from a strengths-based and developmentally informed lens, especially in my work as a school adjustment counselor supporting children, adolescents, and families. In sessions, I focus on helping clients better understand their emotions, build skills, and make sense of patterns that may be getting in the way. I aim to create a safe, attuned space where clients can feel supported while working toward growth that feels sustainable and real.

What you can expect from me

I always start with an introductory session, where clients and/or their caregiver have the chance to share what’s been going on and what feels most important right now. For younger clients, I also focus on helping them feel comfortable in the space in a way that fits their age and personality. Together, we’ll begin to understand what support might look like and start shaping goals that feel realistic and helpful. I aim to create a warm, welcoming environment where clients can feel safe opening up at their own pace, without pressure or judgment. From there, we’ll work together in the sessions that follow to build coping skills, strengthen emotional understanding, and support meaningful growth over time.
