Great to meet you!

Hi there, I'm Emmy! I'm an LMHC in Florida, and I have been working in the mental health field since 2017. I've worked in psychiatric hospitals, residential facilities, IOP/PHP programs, and now am doing private practice. My passion areas lie in breaking societal barriers and embracing ourselves radically. Clients and colleagues alike describe me as direct but compassionate, humorous, and knowledgeable.

My approach to therapy

I utilize a lot of methods from CBT, ACT, and Existentialism in my therapeutic style. I am big on cognitive restructuring and radical acceptance. The main areas in which I like helping people are self-esteem, anxiety management, self-love, and identity development. I also am passionate about working with those with OCD.

What you can expect from me

I love empowering my clients to set realistic and achievable goals for themselves. Early on in sessions, I ask a lot of questions to understand you better. Then, we decide together what is most pressing to work through and what changes would benefit you the most. I try to be casual, compassionate, and open-minded!
