Great to meet you!

Hi! I'm a licensed clinical social worker trained in EMDR, dedicated to supporting individuals as they navigate life's difficulties. Whatever your reason for seeking therapy is, I am dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive and empowering space where meaningful and positive change can happen. I have completed training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and 10 hours of EMDR clinical consultation.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy includes a combination of person-centered therapy and evidence-based practices including EMDR. I strongly believe in the importance of meeting clients where they're at. I find that a collaborative approach is the best way to make therapy meaningful. I often describe the therapeutic space as a place where the client is the expert of their life and experiences and I am the expert of mental health; together we can realize their goals.

What you can expect from me

During your first session with me, we will get to know one another through introductions, explore what led you to seek therapy and gather background information. My priority is creating a safe space where you feel comfortable to share what you're experiencing and what you hope to gain from therapy. I'll also review what you can expect from our sessions together and discuss how I can help you achieve your goals.
