Great to meet you!

I am a bicultural therapist with seven years of experience in the medical field, where I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals and families through some of life’s most difficult moments. My experience includes working with chronic illness, medical trauma, caregiving, hospice, grief, and caregiver burnout. I have also facilitated support groups for individuals coping with the loss of a loved one due to suicide or overdose.

In addition to my medical social work experience, I enjoy working with young adults, particularly first-generation students, as well as immigrant families navigating cultural adjustment, intergenerational relationships, and identity exploration.

I am an LGBTQI+ affirming, anti-racist/anti-oppressive, and body-positive therapist. My goal is to create a warm, collaborative space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered. If you’re curious about working together, I encourage you to schedule a free phone consultation!

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and client-centered—I believe that each person’s story is unique, and I tailor our work together. Throughout the therapy journey, I am committed to walking alongside my clients, providing steady support as they explore their emotions, make meaningful changes, and build resilience. I view therapy as a collaborative process, where we work together to identify goals and strategies that align with each individual’s values, strengths, and needs.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is all about getting to know you. I’ll take the time to learn about your story, what has brought you to therapy, and what you’re hoping to get out of our work together. My goal is to meet clients where they are, helping them navigate emotional challenges with compassion, clarity, and respect.
