Hello, my name is Emilie, and I am so glad you are here! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker ready to provide you with therapy focusing on mental health, addiction and or trauma. I am certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I also have a focus on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) during my work with you.

In my role as your therapist, my primary focus is to create a safe and non-judgmental space where you can openly explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. My approach is rooted in empathy, compassion and respect for your unique journey.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we will spent time discussing your personal goals and hopes for therapy and spending time discussing the reasons for these goals. Throughout the session, I prioritize creating a safe and comfortable space to build trust and begin supporting you in the way that best suits you.
