Emilie Havili

Hello! My name is Emilie Cassan Havili. I have been a licensed clinical social worker for over a decade and am passionate about helping my clients learn tools and strategies to deal with and move past challenges that are keeping them from moving forward.

My goal is to help clients heal and move forward regardless of the challenges they are facing. My main experience has been with women dealing with trauma. I am passionate about helping clients deal with life experiences and helping them develop tools to have the strength to move past those issues, heal, and be able to confront what lies ahead in life.

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Communications and a Master's degree in Social Work. I have worked in multiple settings including residential treatment, day treatments, outpatients and schools. I also have experience working with multi-cultural clients and speak Spanish fluently.

My specialties include trauma and working with adolescents and young adults dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, grief and loss as well as other issues. I also have specific training in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) as well as in Internal Family Systems (IFS).

My main goal as the therapist is to create safe space for my clients: you need to feel comfortable in this space to be able to do the work and to heal. I see the relationship with my clients as a team effort and we work together to find the best treatment strategies for you to help you accomplish your goals.
