Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over eight years of experience supporting children and adolescents. I believe that prioritizing mental health is essential for building happiness and stability in life. Much of my work has taken place in elementary and middle school settings, where I have developed a strong understanding of the everyday pressures young people face. Between rigorous academics and a rapidly changing social landscape, kids need social emotional support more than ever before.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is centered on creating a warm, welcoming space where each child feels safe, supported, and understood. I believe in meeting children where they are, honoring their unique experiences and individual pace. I draw from a blend of CBT, DBT, and Solution-Focused Therapy to help children build practical skills, manage emotions, and recognize their strengths. This flexible, strengths-based approach allows me to tailor each session to the specific needs of the child, supporting meaningful growth and positive change.

What you can expect from me

I always start with an introductory session, including both the child/teen and their caregiver. We will discuss any concerns and goals for therapy. I strive to create a warm, welcoming environment that allows kids to feel comfortable sharing and being vulnerable, while also feeling secure. From there, we’ll work together in the sessions that follow to make these goals a reality for you. Caregivers will be included moving forward as needed.
