Great to meet you!

Welcome! I'm Emily, a Licensed Independent Social Worker.

I completed my MSW at Ohio State University and have an undergraduate degree in nutritional sciences. Throughout my career, I've had the opportunity to work closely with those struggling with mood, body image, trauma, life adjustments, relationship issues, and maternal mental health within crisis, inpatient & outpatient psychiatric and pediatric medical settings.

My approach to therapy

It is important to me to create a collaborative and non-judgmental space. I understand that our past experiences and trauma can shape how we see ourselves, our relationships, and the world around us. During our time together, we may focus on developing mindfulness, self-compassion, and effective coping strategies so you can move forward with greater confidence, resilience, and connection to what matters most to you.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, so the first session is meant to be a comfortable and welcoming conversation. We’ll talk about what led you to seek therapy and what you hope to get out of it. There is no wrong answer! My goal is to help you feel heard, understood, and supported as we begin this process together.
