Great to meet you!

You're the colleague everyone turns to for answers, the executive who keeps the room calm, the teen who looks fine on paper. From the outside, things look good. Underneath, the anxiety has been building, the self-doubt won't quiet down, and you've been wondering when it gets to be your turn to feel okay.

In 17 years of practice, from acute inpatient psychiatric care to outpatient therapy, I've sat with people at every level of "I'm not okay." If that's where you are, I want our work to actually move things forward, not just give you a place to vent.

My approach to therapy

I'm energetic, practical, and direct. I'll ask you the questions you've been avoiding, but in a way that feels human, not clinical. You'll leave each session with something to try this week, not just something to think about.

Clients often tell me I create a fast sense of safety in session, which I take seriously. Hard conversations are part of the work, and I want them to feel like they're happening between two people, not across a desk. My toolkit is vast but I primarily pull from CBT, DBT, and solution-focused therapy, which together help you spot the patterns running you and build skills you can actually use.

What you can expect from me

It's normal to feel nervous beforehand. Most of our first session is a conversation. I'll ask what's bringing you in, what you've already tried, and what would make therapy feel worth your time. I tend to ask a lot of "why" and "how" questions, not to interrogate but because I'm genuinely curious about how you got here.

You don't have to have it figured out, and you don't need the right words. By the end, we'll know if we're a good fit and where to focus first.
