Great to meet you!

Therapy can be transformative in its power to allow us to look at ourselves and create change. Finding the right fit with a therapist is such an important part of that process. I strive to connect with my clients on a human level, to truly create a safe space together. My clients include adults, young to older, experiencing major life transitions, like illness, career or relationship changes, as well as anxiety and depression. My practice is unique because from my personal and professional experiences, I deeply understand how different life stressors impact not just mental health, but identity, relationships, and overall well-being. I am also a certified 200 hour yoga teacher and bring in yogic themes and skills when appropriate.

My approach to therapy

My approach is first and foremost, personable and collaborative. I feel our relationship needs to feel safe and secure in order to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to grow at your own pace. My approach is also compassionate and supportive, where clients can explore challenges and develop deeper self-awareness. Lastly, I like to bring in tangible tools to build coping skills that you can use on your own.

What you can expect from me

For our first session, I like to learn more about your life as a whole and what you're hoping to gain from therapy. Sometimes, it can be challenging to know exactly what we're looking for so we usually begin exploring that by discussing what changes you'd like to see in how you're feeling and how that would impact your life.
