Great to meet you!

I'm a therapist, punk, and human. I help late diagnosed (or suspecting!) ADHD women and AFAB folks work through the shame tapes (like "I'm lazy" or "I'm not good enough" or "everyone can do this except me") to get to empowerment. I am also trained in EMDR and group therapy facilitation for trauma processing and resilience building. Let's rise together!

My approach to therapy

My approach is tailored to each client but will generally include 3 phases:

  1. Get the present feeling less "ughhh" - this might look like beefing up coping skills, challenging anxious thoughts, learning executive functioning hacks, or trying out self-compassion instead of self-shaming.
  2. Dig into the past - what happened in the past that feels like it's weirdly repeating itself in the present, or straight up intruding on the present? Let's get curious together! Inner child, you wanna come sit with us? We got you now.
  3. What do you want the future to look like - The present feels more stable, the past feel less horror-y, now it's time to look towards the future. How do you want to show up? What skills, practices, mindsets, or parts of yourself are you taking with you to get there?

What you can expect from me

The first session is usually a bit more structured than subsequent ones. We'll talk about what brings you to therapy, the symptoms you've been experiencing, your goals, and maybe touch on family stuff and what kind of support system and strengths you're already bringing to the table.
