Great to meet you!

I offer inclusive and affirming therapy, grounded in the belief that you deserve to be understood as a whole person, not reduced to a diagnosis, difficult or traumatic experience, or a particular chapter in your life. I work with adults who are navigating challenges related to ADHD, trauma, life transitions, burnout, self-esteem, identity struggles or difficulties in relationships. I also have experience working with and welcome those who identify as LGBTQIA+.

My approach to therapy

My focus is on supporting you in creating meaningful change and a life that feels more authentically yours. We will work collaboratively to create goals that feel true to you and build skills to help you feel empowered, grounded and in control of your life. I use evidence-based and person centered approaches to support my clients. In our sessions we may use CBT to identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns, DBT to build skills for emotional regulation, and motivational interviewing to strengthen your own voice in creating change. I believe that meaningful therapy begins with a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship. My role is to walk alongside you offering support and guidance while honoring your autonomy and allowing you to move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I value open and direct communication and invite you to show up exactly as you are.

What you can expect from me

In our first session we will go over some background information, explore what brought you to therapy, clarify goals and talk next steps in supporting you. Our first session is also an opportunity for you to ask me any questions you may have regarding the therapy process, my approach or what to expect in our work together.
