Great to meet you!

Great to meet you! I am Emily Day, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Since 2019, I’ve specialized in helping adolescents and adults navigate life’s challenges. My expertise lies in helping you effectively identify, communicate, and manage complex emotions—vital skills that are rarely taught. Whether you are facing difficult life transitions or working toward specific mental health goals, I am here to help. I offer both in-person and telehealth sessions, creating a warm, supportive environment where you can develop the practical tools you need to thrive and build a more fulfilling life.

My approach to therapy

I aim to provide a safe, comfortable space for you to openly explore your experiences. I use a strengths-based and solution-focused approach, integrating evidence-based practices. Recognizing that no two people are alike, I take the time to get to know you so I can match my interventions and modalities to your unique individual needs.

What you can expect from me

I know beginning therapy can be a huge step and it is more comfortable to meet with a therapist you feel safe with and connected to. I show up in sessions as myself, a real human being, ready to get to know you and collaborate on your goals, all while applying my clinical skills, knowledge, and experience to help you.

Our first session will largely be focused on getting to know you and what you would like to focus on in therapy. If you have any questions I would love to answer them and work together to identify and create goals to meet your needs.
