Great to meet you!

Hello!

I've been an LPC for a handful of years. Prior to that, I was a school counselor and worked in education. This combo has left me with a pragmatic and solution-focused approach when working with individuals struggling with anxiety and PTSD.

My approach to therapy

The client is the captain of the ship. I'm just along for the ride and to offer tools when needed. I come from a EMDR-focused prospect. I like to focus on the roots of the concerns but also try to aid in improving my client's quality of life. Past and current concerns are both equal in my book.

What you can expect from me

I try to make my first session relaxed and open. Rapport is the focus! If comfort and trust has been created, then history can be taken. Ideally, rapport, needs, and goals would all be addressed.
