Great to meet you!

Thanks for checking out my profile! Here, you can find some important information about me. If you think we'd be a good fit or want more info, feel free to schedule a free consultation call.

__________

A little about me:

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and my Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Dallas Baptist University.

I really enjoy working with adults and couples.

But just a note: I am not able to accept insurance for couples counseling.

__________

My main areas of focus include:

  • Relationship Difficulties
  • Trauma Recovery & EMDR
  • Anxiety
  • People-Pleasing
  • Medical trauma
  • Sexual concerns
  • Recovery from Purity Culture

My approach to therapy

We may be a good fit if:

  • You’re highly self-aware but still feel emotionally stuck or disconnected.
  • You overthink, self-criticize, or struggle with feeling “good enough.”
  • You often think, "Why am I feeling this way??"
  • You’re dealing with the aftermath from relational trauma, family dysfunction, or purity culture.
  • You want to have better relationships and are tired of repeating the same patterns.
  • You’re looking for a therapist who balances deep healing with warmth and humor.

________

Using a mix of EMDR, experiential, attachment-based, and person-centered approaches, I love helping others understand their stories, reconnect with themselves, and create new ways of relating to self and others. I know therapy can be deep, but I don't think it has to feel heavy all the time. I love to bring warmth, humor, and a down-to-earth approach to my sessions.

I don't want you to just know the right answers, I want you to really *feel* more aware and more like yourself—and that this can make meaningful changes in your life!

What you can expect from me

At the heart of my work is the belief that we are made for connection and wholeness. I want a session with me to be a place where you can feel really safe and really heard—where it feels like I really get you!

You'll probably hear me ask the classic therapist questions like "Where do you feel that in your body" and "What's coming up for you right now?" to make sense of your experience and help process the feelings.

AND, I'll also want to equip you with practical skills to navigate your concerns right now, so you can walk out of a session feeling both heard and equipped.
