Great to meet you!

You've probably done therapy before. Maybe it helped, until it didn't. Maybe you sat across from someone who understood your anxiety & depression but not your culture, your faith but not your queerness, your ambition but not the weight of being the first, the only, or the one everyone leans on. You shouldn't have to leave parts of yourself in the waiting room. I'm a queer, Latine therapist trained in depth-oriented psychotherapy, working at the intersections most therapy ignores: identity, family, faith, finances & culture. My clients are often high-functioning & quietly depleted. We go deeper than coping skills. We get to the root.

My approach to therapy

This isn't worksheet therapy. Psychodynamic work examines the patterns underneath the patterns, the inherited scripts and old survival strategies written before you had a say. Faith, spirituality, and ancestry are welcome here, not pathologized. The work is slower in all the right ways, more honest, and built to last rather than patch.

What you can expect from me

I hold master's degrees in Clinical Counseling & Psychotherapy (ICSW) and Psychiatry & Religion (Union Theological Seminary), and I've spent my career bringing depth work to queer, BIPOC, and LGBTQIA2S+ communities. Sessions are virtual, anywhere in Illinois. Reach out for a free 15-minute consultation, you'll know if this is the right room for you.
