Great to meet you!

I view being a therapist as a profound privilege, but I always want my clients to know that I am human first. I don’t pretend to have all the answers or "know best," instead, I am here to walk alongside you, offering kindness, a fresh perspective, and a safe place to laugh, because I truly believe humor is a vital part of the healing process. I hold a Master’s in Couples and Family Therapy from Seattle University and a Bachelor’s in Psychology from UCLA. Throughout my career, I’ve supported children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. A significant portion of my work focuses on women’s issues, identity development, self-esteem, and supporting survivors of abusive relationships. While there isn't much I shy away from, I deeply value your well-being. If something is ever outside my scope of practice, I will ensure you are connected with the right resources so you receive the absolute best care.

My approach to therapy

Therapy with me is a warm, joint effort centered on where you want to go. You are the expert on your own life. I am here to navigate the terrain with you, pointing out what might be blocking your path and exploring new ways of thinking. I prioritize psychoeducation so you feel empowered by understanding your body and mind. Our work together serves as a safe space to practice what a healthy relationship looks like, and sometimes that looks like navigating difficult conversations and establishing clear boundaries.

What you can expect from me

Think of our first session as a supportive space to establish a comfortable foundation. We will discuss your goals, walk through any questions you have, and see how it feels to work together. Because your growth depends on finding the right fit, there is zero pressure. If my style isn't quite what you need, I'll gladly help you find the right clinician for your journey!
