Great to meet you!

Hello! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults. My primary role as a School Based Mental Health counselor has allowed me to work with adolescents who struggle with behavioral issues, anxiety, suicidal ideation, anger management, school/peer issues, and more. I also have experience working with young adults struggling with adjustment, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and grounded in both insight and skills building. I believe that gaining insight is important, but lasting change also comes from practicing new ways of thinking, and responding. Sessions will vary based on each individual persons needs, but you can always expect validation, a non-judgmental space, and gentle challenging to help support meaningful growth.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a foundation of trust. I will ask questions, and allow you the opportunity to ask questions as well-but I do not expect everything to be shared an covered all at once. By the end of the session, we will begin identifying goals and next steps for out work together.
