Great to meet you!

Sometimes the hardest part isn't the anxiety or the low moods themselves, it's feeling like no one really gets what's going on underneath. I work with adolescents and adults who are carrying anger, anxiety, depression, panic, or the weight of past trauma, and who are ready to feel more like themselves again. I also spend a lot of my time supporting teenagers and their families through hard seasons, whether that's a mental health struggle, a relationship strain at home, or just the everyday pressure of growing up. My work is grounded in really listening first and building our plan around your actual life, not a generic script.

My approach to therapy

Together, we build practical tools you can actually use between sessions, not just insight you file away. I care about this work because I've seen how much it matters for young people and their families to have real support during difficult chapters, and that's a big part of why I do this. In our sessions, we go deep on things like PTSD and anxiety in adolescents and young adults, since that's where I've seen the most meaningful change happen. Clients who do well with me tend to be open to trying new coping skills and want to understand the "why" behind them, not just the "what."

What you can expect from me

Your first session with me is a chance to just talk. We'll walk through your history and what's bringing you in right now, and start shaping goals that actually feel worth working toward, not just items on a checklist. There's no pressure to have it all figured out before we start. If you're ready to have someone truly listen and help you build tools that stick, I'd love to hear from you.
