Great to meet you!

I provide individual and family therapy for adolescents and adults who are struggling with an array of difficulties including anxiety, phobias, depressive disorders, trauma, OCD and related disorders, mild to moderate eating disorders, and body image related issues. I use a collaborative and strength based approach using the modalities of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure with Response Prevention, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My style of therapy is collaborative and client centered. I believe that clients have inherent strengths that can be identified and utilized to best meet their goals. I try to make sure that I make a personal connection with each client and personalize their treatment plan to fit their particular goals and needs. I specialize in CBT, DBT, ACT, and ERP approaches to therapy. I also specialize in providing an art therapy approach to sessions if clients desire.

What you can expect from our first session

Clients can expect to enter a warm and supportive environment where trust can be built and a therapeutic relationship will be formed. Clients can expect that I will do a thorough assessment to understand their symptoms, needs and background in order to create treatment goals that are personal and meaningful to them. I can assist clients in reducing mental health symptoms so that they can live more functional and fulfilling lives.
