Great to meet you!

I'm a licensed mental health counselor with experience providing care in both clinic and primary care medical settings since 2015. My clients have presented a wide range of concerns including: depression, anxiety, grief, anger management, substance abuse, poverty, and life after incarceration.

Before graduate school I was a community organizer addressing issues of social, ecological, and economic concern; my undergraduate degrees are in Community Health and Peace and Justice Studies.

My approach to therapy

My approach pulls from narrative & feminist therapies as well as ACT. I often use a systems perspective to explore problems, and have experience working with systemic harm and oppression. I have specialized training in both ERP and I-CBT, the primary evidence-based treatments for OCD.

An area of special interest to me is distress related to ecology & climate chaos. I wrote my Master's thesis on the mental health impacts of climate change, and I continue to follow current research on the subject.

What you can expect from me

I'm honored to walk with people who invite me into their lives, and I strive to offer honesty and compassion in a safe & respectful way. I enjoy working with clients to identify and establish boundaries, develop assertive communication skills, and learn to live more authentically.
