Great to meet you!

You may be at a point where you're questioning who you are, what you need, or how to move forward when life feels overwhelming. Perhaps anxiety keeps your mind racing, depression makes it difficult to feel like yourself, or past experiences have left you struggling with confidence, identity, or relationships. I work with adolescents, adults, and seniors experiencing anxiety, depression, women's issues, identity issues, and trauma. These challenges can also overlap with family concerns, stress management, cultural and ethnic issues, grief or loss, and maternal mental health, especially when personal expectations, relationships, and life transitions begin affecting one another. With 6 years of experience, I believe therapy should offer more than a place to talk. It should be a space where you feel genuinely understood, supported, and empowered to explore what matters most to you. Together, we can uncover your strengths, develop healthier ways of coping, and help you move toward a life that feels more authentic, balanced, and fulfilling.

My approach to therapy

Our work will make room for both the person you are today and the relationships, identity, culture, and experiences that have shaped you. We'll explore how anxiety, depression, women's issues, identity issues, and trauma may be influencing your emotional wellbeing, sense of self, and ability to navigate relationships and everyday life. I may use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help you recognize patterns in thoughts and behaviors that contribute to distress and develop healthier ways of responding, while Narrative Therapy can help you explore the stories you've developed about yourself and create space for a more empowering understanding of your experiences. I may also draw from Motivational Interviewing to help you explore change at your own pace, and Strength Based Therapy to recognize the resilience and abilities you already carry. Trauma Focused CBT can help you process difficult experiences and develop healthier responses to painful memories, while Attachment Based approaches can help us understand how early relationships and emotional connections continue to influence your present experiences. Our sessions will be collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in your individual needs, balancing meaningful self-exploration with practical strategies that support lasting change.

What you can expect from me

You deserve a space where you can show up exactly as you are, without feeling pressured to have everything figured out. During our first few sessions, we'll take time to understand what brought you here, what has been most difficult, and what you hope will feel different. Together, we'll establish meaningful goals that reflect your values, experiences, and the changes you want to make. You can expect me to bring warmth, curiosity, and thoughtful encouragement to our conversations while creating an environment where you feel accepted, respected, and comfortable exploring difficult emotions, identity, relationships, or painful experiences. Progress may look like feeling less overwhelmed by anxiety, reconnecting with yourself when depression feels heavy, developing greater confidence in your identity, navigating women's issues or life transitions with more clarity, or feeling less controlled by experiences from your past. We'll continue checking in on your goals and adjusting our work as your needs evolve, helping you move forward with greater self-awareness, emotional balance, and confidence in the person you are becoming.
