Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Social Worker and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor with experience working with substance use and co-occurring mental health across multiple levels of care. I’ve supported clients navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and recovery.

I believe therapy should feel authentic, not overly clinical or surface-level. I value genuine human connection and creating a space where you feel seen, understood, and not judged. My goal is to help you make sense of what you’re going through, build coping skills that actually work, and create meaningful, lasting change—not just temporary fixes.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, direct, and individualized. Therapy with me isn’t one-size-fits-all—we focus on what you need and what will actually help you move forward.

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach. I also incorporate relapse prevention, behavioral activation, and solution-focused techniques to help you build practical tools you can use in real life—not just in session.

I’ll meet you where you are, while also gently challenging patterns that may be keeping you stuck. Therapy with me is supportive, but also real—we’ll do the work together.

What you can expect from me

The first session is all about getting to know you. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you’re currently struggling with, and what you’re hoping to get out of this process.

There’s no pressure to share everything right away—we’ll move at your pace. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, safe, and understood from the start.

By the end of the session, we’ll begin identifying initial goals and next steps so you leave with a clearer sense of direction.
