Great to meet you!

Hi there, my name is Emily. I’m an experienced dual board-certified Psychiatric and Family Nurse Practitioner with 20 years experience as a nurse practitioner offering integrative mental health care for people struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, OCD, stress and burnout, life transitions, or feeling stuck.

My dual certification informs both approach, allowing me to bring a broad diagnostic lens to care. My approach is grounded in the connection between the mind, body, and lived experience, and is also informed by additional training in ketamine-assisted therapy, psychedelic medicine, yoga and mindfulness practices.

I take time to understand what is important to you, what may be getting in the way, and how to support you in moving toward what matters most.

Treatment planning is individualized and may include medication management as well as lifestyle support. mindfulness, somatic practices, psychedelic harm reduction, and collaboration with your broader care team

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative and grounded in the connection between mind, body and lived experience. I work with clients to better understand what matters most to them, what may be getting in the way, and how treatment can support greater alignment with their values and goals. I often view self-compassion as an important entry point for change, especially when clients are navigating shame, self-criticism, trauma, anxiety, depression, or life transitions.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my goal is to create a nonjudgmental space where you can share what is bringing you to care. We’ll talk about your current concerns, history, goals, strengths, and what feels most important right now.

The first session is thorough and collaborative, with time for questions and reflection. Together, we’ll clarify your hopes for treatment, discuss what options may be supportive, and create a plan for next steps.
