Great to meet you!

Emily Hampp is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) based in Ohio. She is a queer and gender-affirming therapist who helps clients identify the barriers that may keep them from consistently living their authentic lives. Many of Emily's clients come to therapy to process trauma, gain more insight into themselves, and communicate more effectively in their relationships with others.

My approach to therapy

Emily provides a trauma-informed approach to therapy, pulling from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS), among other methodologies. She helps clients challenge their unhelpful and unwanted thoughts to reduce the emotional impact of negative thoughts. She helps clients identify and hold true to their values to live as authentically as possible.

What you can expect from me

Emily's style is warm, inviting, and collaborative. She is committed to providing a nonjudgmental, safe space for clients of all identities to ensure clients feel heard and supported.
