Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Emily! I have clinical experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. I have a soft spot for teens who are struggling with anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, ADHD, and other concerns that are disrupting life and affecting important relationships. I strongly believes that teens can benefit from the listening ear of an empathetic mental health professional as they navigate this sensitive period of development when they are learning how to trust themselves and develop self-worth. I also have experience leading parenting groups where parents learn behavior management techniques, discuss ways to connect with their children, set healthy boundaries, and restore family unity.

My approach to therapy

I apply evidence-based interventions like Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Value based Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Sandtray, and Art Therapy

What you can expect from me

I care deeply about helping individuals accept themselves and learn how to use their inner voice as a supportive friend rather than an unhelpful critic. My approach is strengths-based, where clients can be attuned to their own needs, gain tools to meet those needs, and develop a greater sense of agency and empowerment in their lives. You’ll find games, art supplies, clay, and fidget toys in my office.
