Great to meet you!

I have over 38 years of experience helping children, adults, and families navigate complex emotional and relational challenges. I work from a family-systems and strength-based perspective, focusing on understanding patterns that contribute to ongoing stress and disconnection.

I am direct, thoughtful, and collaborative in my approach. I work with ADHD, anxiety, depression, school concerns, divorce, and family relationship challenges. When working with children, I believe caregiver involvement is essential for meaningful and lasting change.

My approach to therapy

What Makes Me Different

I look beyond symptoms to understand the broader context in which challenges develop. My work focuses on clarity, accountability, and practical insight that supports long-term growth rather than short-term relief.

I do not rely on a one-size-fits-all approach. I draw from different therapeutic models depending on the needs, strengths, and circumstances of the individual or family, allowing treatment to remain purposeful, responsive, and effective.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance for you to share what has brought you to therapy at this time and what you’ve already encountered along the way. We’ll look at current stressors as well as early experiences that may still be influencing patterns today.

Research on Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) has shown how early stress can shape later emotional and relational health. Understanding this context can be validating and empowering.

This is your treatment. We will focus on the concerns you identify and work together in a way that feels respectful and manageable.
