Great to meet you!

I am an independently licensed social worker (my degree not my job!) with over 24 years of experience in the counseling field. I have a strong background in DBT, CBT, CPT, ACT, PE, Seeking Safety, Mindfulness, Attachment Therapy, Addictions, and have worked extensively with those who struggle with trauma, anxiety, depression, religious trauma, emotionally absent parents, boundary issues, and various other mental health issues. I am also certified in Telehealth Counseling.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy is a very personal experience, and that I am honored to walk with each individual who chooses to work with me on their journey. I believe in empowering my clients to move towards the life they wish to live using their value-based action steps and goals, knowing that they are in the "driver's seat" of their therapy. I'm here to encourage, support, help with accountability, teach new skills, and cheer you on, in the path you choose.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect solid empirically validated therapy with a kind, thoughtful, and an empowering twist. I encourage clients to move towards better mental health while learning new skills to help them lower their symptoms and re-engage in their lives according to their values.
