Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been practicing as a trauma therapist, trainer, and consultant for the last 12 years. For much of my career, I specialized in working with kids and families who have experienced complex and intergenerational trauma, and specifically focused on infant and early childhood mental health. I work frequently with conditions such as anxiety, depression, and complex PTSD, and provide support for individuals and couples of the LGBTQ+ community.

I hold a B.A. in Communications and Law from Manhattanville College and an M.S.W. from Boston College. I am also experienced in writing WPATH letters to allow both minors and adults to access gender affirming care.

My approach to therapy

As a queer therapist, I am dedicated to changing the stigma around mental health from “what is wrong with you” to “what happened to you”. I utilize frameworks and modalities that stem from neuroscience and attachment (such as Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy, EMDR, Ecotherapy, and EFT), and I partner with each individual, couple, or family system from an anti-racist, anti-colonial, sex-positive, queer, and trans-affirming perspective. I have training in multiple different trauma modalities, and also bring aspects of narrative, sensory motor, and art into my work. No matter the issue or the age, I believe strongly in the need for play and joy in the healing process and work to bring these elements into all my sessions.

What you can expect from me

For our first session, we'll take some time to get to know each other and start diving into your history of challenges and strengths across your lifetime. We'll start to assess our roadmap for treatment and where we want to begin.
