My approach to therapy

Starting therapy can sometimes be scary, but when we challenge ourselves to push through that vulnerability, it often feels empowering and peaceful to get to the other side.

Emily takes a creative approach to therapy and applies different treatment approaches in practice. Some treatment modalities she employs are person centered, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness and cognitive processing therapy.

What you can expect from me

Emily works hard to instill a deep sense of safety, trust and confidence in the therapeutic relationship, to give clients the space to work through their current challenges, to find acceptance, healing and meaning.

The therapeutic approaches incorporated into sessions are aimed at helping clients find clarity, acceptance, understanding and emotional expansion.
