Great to meet you!

Hi, my name is Dr. Emily Konicki! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Florida. I have a Master's degree and Doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy (DMFT) degree in Couples and Family Therapy with a specialization in Medical Family Therapy and Military Families.

I have a variety of experience working with individuals and families in a community mental health setting and school setting. I enjoy working with individuals and families ages 5 and up!

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is one that comes from a place of empathy and understanding. I believe it is important to recognize the growth and challenges that a client has experienced because that is the foundation we are building on. I also value hearing client's experiences and enjoy connecting them to their family through a multigenerational lens.

I enjoy working with healthcare professionals and military families as well, given my unique experiences in those realms.

What you can expect from me

My goal as a therapist is to provide a welcoming and empathetic space for clients to process life’s challenges. I hope to connect with clients on a deeper level so that they can feel heard and understood. I am also a believer in validating emotions and helping clients build appreciation for where they are. Clients can expect to enter a safe, non-judgmental space during every session where I collaborate with them to create their safe, healing place.
