My approach to therapy

As a solution-focused therapist, I believe everyone needs help at times. I strive to assist clients get the tools they need so they don't need me anymore! That may be improving coping skills, gaining insight, or just having that neutral person with whom to work on things.

What you can expect from me

It takes a lot of strength to talk to someone you don't know about what is causing you concern. Usually this concern is the catalyst for seeing a therapist. When you see me for the first time, my primary objective is to understand what that concern is and to work with you to address it. You are in charge of your sessions.
