Great to meet you!

Hi there, I'm Emily. I am a clinical social worker and psychotherapist in private practice, licensed in California since 2018. I have over 20 years of experience as a social worker. I am passionate about helping women, men, and adolescents reconnect to their truest, most authentic selves.

My approach to therapy

Whether you are struggling with trauma reminders, addiction, relationship dysfunction, battered self-esteem, or cycles of depression and anxiety, I'm here to help.

I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). To recover from trauma, I will help you reestablish safety and trust in yourself and the world around you. You can learn to self-soothe and ground yourself when triggered, mourn what was lost, and reframe the events of the past as something that happened, but do not define you.

What you can expect from me

We will conduct a thorough intake and assessment and build a treatment plan with goals that are self-directed, measurable, realistic, and achievable. Every so often, we will review these goals to check if they are still relevant and on-target.

Clients can expect to leave our sessions feeling a little bit lighter, more connected, more seen, more validated, and armed with new tools, insight, and strategies to handle overwhelming emotions or interpersonal and social scenarios.
