Great to meet you!

I am a graduate of Wright State University with a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I work with minors and adults using evidence-based practices and believe each individual has strengths that can be used to improve mental health. Healing happens in safe, supportive relationships and in our work together, I’ll meet you with compassion and respect. You don’t have to figure it all out alone.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Informed Care, and Motivational Interviewing with a strengths-based and person-centered approach. Depending on your needs, we may explore emotions, thought patterns, past experiences, or physical sensations. I believe therapy should be tailored to you — your goals, your pace, your story.

What you can expect from our first session

I work with clients to establish goals that are meaningful to them. Throughout our work together I will be mindful of highlighting indications of progress towards goals. I also work with assisting clients to recognize when thought and behavior patterns and resulting emotional experiences are detracting from goal attainment. You can expect open communication, respect for confidentiality, and a non-judgemental approach.
