Great to meet you!

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in Castro Valley, CA, and work with clients statewide via telehealth. I work with adolescents and adults and specialize in treating grief and related issues, including depression, anxiety, and life transitions.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is tailored to the individual needs of my clients. Overall, I bring empathy, compassion, and a bit of humor to each session. The therapeutic relationship is built upon the understanding that the process is collaborative and goal-oriented. I utilize several evidence-based approaches, such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy.

What you can expect from me

During your initial session I will gather pertinent information and complete an assessment, which will help clarify goals for treatment and determine the appropriate course of care. You can expect a non-judgmental and compassionate space to let go of whatever has been weighing you down or crowding your mind. To begin your journey toward wellness, schedule an appointment today.
