A bit about my approach to therapy

Emily is creative and compassionate in her approach to working with others. Emily utilizes a person-centered approach, placing value on the notion that you know yourself best. She has unique clinical experience working with eating disorders, gender diversity, suicidal ideation, identity development, life transitions, body image, grief, anxiety, and depression.

What you can expect from our first session

As humans, we begin to heal as soon as we feel heard. I believe in the power of listening to client expression, whether that be through art, music, movement, or words. You have a light within you that can sometimes be dimmed by the pressures of the world. Through the process of self-expression and self-reflection, you have the potential to let your light become a beacon for yourself.
