Great to meet you!

In my practice, I am the helper not the authority or judge. I find it important to work with my clients on building understanding and acceptance of the struggles they are facing. We work to take control back from those struggles while destigmatizing their thoughts and feelings around it. I work to be an empowering, supportive and safe presence for all of my clients because admitting to struggling or needing help is never easy, so it is my job to make it help make it as comfortable as possible.

My approach to therapy

We first identify immediate concerns and begin to work on the core aspects of mental health that are effected by these concerns. While strengthening this foundational mental health, we work on acceptance and destigmatization, along with other skills and techniques that will make addressing the tough stuff more manageable.

What you can expect from me

After working with me, client should expect to have developed improved insight into their thoughts, feelings and patterns of behavior, improved relational skills, and armed with a number of ongoing coping strategies. No matter the concern a client comes in to therapy with, these are aspects that become incorporated into nearly all my work with clients as they are struggles each of us face to some degree and play a role in the every person's daily life.
